crazy re-take test day!

I had a nice relaxing morning at home but the rest of the day was busy and at times a little crazy too! I met with Lidia, my Romanian teacher from 1:30 – 3:00pm for my Romanian lesson. She gave me a short test on verbs. I didn’t do so well on it. I need to study more! The rest of my lesson we did plurals. I enjoy learning Romanian but sometimes it can get discouraging when I see how little I know and how much more I need to learn to become fluent in the language! Please pray for me to learn Romanian well and quickly.
After my Romanian lesson I went to the school to prepare for my classes. A couple of weeks ago my students wrote their midterm test which was on the first four chapters of the unit of this term. For my students to pass their test they need to get 70% or higher. Seven of my students didn’t pass from my intro (beginner) classes, so today they re-took their tests.
Six of my students re-wrote their tests today and one will do it on Thursday because they are from two different classes it was kind of crazy. On Tuesday and Thursdays I teach two classes. The first one is from 4:00 – 6:00pm and the second one is from 6:30 – 8:30pm. Both of those classes are the intro level. At 5:30pm I expected two of my students from my 6:30pm class to come and re-write their tests. So, I left my 4pm class to give my students their tests and settle them in. I then left them to write their tests and went back to my classroom. Then five minutes later, another student came to my classroom, whom I expected her to re-write her test at 6:30pm but she came at 5:35pm instead. I left my 4pm class again and gave her the test, settled her in and then went back to my classroom.
From 6:00 – 6:30pm I had a break before my next class. I needed that break! At 6:30pm three more students re-wrote their tests while I taught my 6:30pm class. At 7:20pm one of my students knocked on my classroom door and wanted to talk to me. I went out to talk to her and she told me her test is too hard. I then realized that I gave her the wrong test! She is in the Intro A level and I accidently gave her the 2A test which is an intermediate level. Well no wonder why she found it hard because it was way above her level! I felt so bad that I kept apologizing to her! She will write it on Thursday now. Then during my 6:30pm class break all of the students did the listening part of the test together. That was the end of the crazy re-take test day!
Wow, what a day! I felt so stressed out that I didn’t even think straight and so I’m glad the day is over. Now it’s late and I must go to bed!
