January term started this week!

This past week (January 14 – 18) was our first week of the winter term at school. Classes began again and we are full swing into our school schedule again. This term God has once again expanded my children’s classes at the school! I am now teaching four children’s classes and two adult classes. Registration for the children’s classes went well very this term! All of my children’s classes are full! This term I am teaching two beginner level classes for children ages 7 – 10 years old and an intermediate class for older children ages 11 – 14 years old. I continue to go to Rozmarin where I teach gypsy children English twice a week. I am also teaching two adult classes (levels Intro B and 1A). I am excited about my classes this term!

Our team has extended this term! Three local missionaries have joined us (Tom and Sue Scriven and Becky Hoorn), to teach part-time at the school. We also have an Australian couple who joined our team! Jon and Margot Nairn flew here to Romania this past week to take the reigns of the Reghin branch! Their son James also came with them who will assist and help out as well. This expansion is exciting and we see God’s hand building the team and creating evermore opportunities to share about His Kingdom. We hope to have 360 students this term. Praise God for the opportunities this opens up for us! God is so faithful!

About Andrea

I am from Whitby, Ontario. I have lived in Romania for 9 years as a missionary but I am currently in Canada on a sabbatical break at this time. I have also lived in South Korea for a year and I have also been to Russia, Uganda, Albania and the Czech Republic on short-term mission trips. In 2012, God also gave me an amazing opportunity to go to Mozambique for the Harvest Mission School with Iris Ministries as well. I love children, reaching out to people who are in need and vulnerable, I have a passion to fight against the injustice issue of human trafficking and to simply share the love of Jesus wherever I go. I also love cats too and I have a cat of my own named Minnie!
