last few days in Romania

On Sunday March 30th, it was my last day at my church in Romania. It was a bit hard to say good-bye to everyone at church because I have grown very close to them and they have become like my family there but at the same time I know I will be going back. My Pastor asked me to go up to the front of the church at the end of the service. He announced to everyone that it is my last day and I will be going to Canada for 6 weeks. Then Pastor Liviu and the rest of the church prayed for me for my time at home. That was a real blessing for me. After the service one of the ladies who is the mom of one of my guy friends invited me to her house with two of my other missionary friends for lunch. That was really sweet of her to do that and an unexpected nice surprise!

My last few days in Romania was a very busy time for me especially wrapping up everything at school. I had to make certificates and tests for my children’s classes which were new for me to do because we are developing are children’s classes at school right now. I also packed and spent some time with my friends as well.

On Tuesday April 1st, was my last day at school and it was also my last day at Rozmarin too. I had a great time with the children at Rozmarin and all of my classes at school. I gave each of them a pencil from Canada. They liked that. The only thing which was a bit disappointing for me was I couldn’t attend the graduation for the January term. I bought a one-year plane ticket before I left Romania last year and if I didn’t use my return ticket by April 2nd  I would have lost it so I couldn’t do anything about that. I am sure they had a great graduation but it would have especially been nice to attend and give out the certificates to the children since that was the first time we did that. Oh, well there was nothing I could have done about that. I’m just so glad James stepped up and took over my kids classes and we didn’t have to cancel any of them. Thank-you Lord for your provision!
