What a great day! This afternoon at 3:15pm I went to CP2 to get Andreea to see the movie Step Up 3D and also spend the evening together. My friend Aubrey and Iby who is another orphan teen from CP2 went to see the movie with us. The movie was almost two hours and wow did I ever enjoy every moment of that movie! I first heard about the movie from the TV show “So You Think You Can Dance” because they talked about it on a couple of their episodes and they even had some of their dancers on one of their result shows. I think it was the best dance movie I have ever seen!! I was so captured by the movie and because it was in 3D it was even better! I think it was the first movie I saw in 3D. I heard they had over 200 dancers on that movie and some of the best hip hop and break dancers in the world. If you have not seen the movie yet I highly recommend it! Here’s a link to the Step Up 3D trailer:

After the movie I took Andreea to KFC at the food court at the Lotus mall where we saw the movie. I think she appreciated being treated out as I rarely think she goes out to see a movie or out to eat. She has such an amazing attitude and she is the sweetest girl! After we ate we went to Carrefour (it’s a store like Wal-mart). I was so happy that I found really cheap notebooks for the kids I teach English to at Sabolciu! After our evening out I said good-night to her and told her I would see her tomorrow at 5:30pm (Aubrey invited us to go to her place with a bunch of the other orphan teens tomorrow evening).

About Andrea

I am from Whitby, Ontario. I have lived in Romania for 9 years as a missionary but I am currently in Canada on a sabbatical break at this time. I have also lived in South Korea for a year and I have also been to Russia, Uganda, Albania and the Czech Republic on short-term mission trips. In 2012, God also gave me an amazing opportunity to go to Mozambique for the Harvest Mission School with Iris Ministries as well. I love children, reaching out to people who are in need and vulnerable, I have a passion to fight against the injustice issue of human trafficking and to simply share the love of Jesus wherever I go. I also love cats too and I have a cat of my own named Minnie!
