Today I started teaching the younger children English. This was a new class I put together because some of the children are now in the first grade and they are interested in learning English. They were really cute and one of the boys (Aurel) loves to talk! He’s a cute little chatterbox but unfortunately I didn’t understand everything he said because he spoke half in Romanian and half in Romi (gypsy). I have to admit it was really cute and he talked for like a mile a minute even though I didn’t understand half of what he said! Tomorrow Boby and Beni who are the two teenage boys from Sabolciu will start their first day of high school in Oradea!
I had a great evening with my Monday’s Bible study group. We took a break during the month of August and half of September so it was really nice to see everyone again. We are near the end of our study with Beth Moore on the patriarchs. Tonight’s teaching by Beth Moore from the DVD was so good! I felt very encouraged with my Romanian because I introduced myself to the group in Romanian (we have 3 new people so we did a quick introduction). I also understood a lot during the discussion which was so encouraging because they spoke fast! Praise God for the encouragement He gave me today!! Unfortunately my Monday’s small group will be switching to Friday evening starting in October and it will conflict with the youth/ young adult service at my church so I don’t think I’ll be able to continue with this group which is really sad! However I might miss one or two services to finish up the study with this group.
