The service in the morning was great. Dani who is one of the Senior Pastor’s sons preached a great message on being used by God. I spent the afternoon at home doing laundry and relaxed a bit. Then I met with my small group for the evening to celebrate my birthday and also Ela’s birthday who’s one of the girls in my group. We went to Daniela’s (she’s in my group) apartment for the birthday party! It was nice to have a get together to celebrate Ela and I’s birthday. We ate food and played ligretto which is kind of like Dutch Blitz.

After small group I told Ela that I have a dentist appointment tomorrow. She asked me about the prices and she was shocked because they are much higher than what her dentist charges. My Romanian teacher’s friend who’s a dentist charges double compared to what Ela’s dentist charges. I was quite surprised so I told Ela that I’ll see if I can cancel my appointment and asked her if she could help me make an appointment with her dentist for this week. Ela told me that she would help me but first I needed to cancel my other appointment.

When I got home I called Mihaela to see if she could cancel the appointment for me but she told me she felt a bit embarrassed to call him the day before so I told her that I’ll call him so I did. I explained to him that the prices are a bit expensive for me and I found another dentist that has cheaper prices. Thankfully he understood and I was able to cancel my appointment. Then I sent Ela a text message and told her that I have cancelled the appointment and asked her if she could make an appointment for her with her dentist.

Before I went to bed I talked to my parents on Skype for around an hour. It is always nice to talk to them and I’m so grateful to be able to keep in touch with them every week. So, it was a good day at church and with my friends!
