Today again I couldn’t go to Sabolciu because Norbi and Mircea had to work on the updates. I went to the office in the morning to give them the updates that I did yesterday. They seemed glad that I got the ones Aubrey and I did completely done. Yesterday I felt a bit annoyed that I had to fix up all of those updates but today I got a different perspective after Norbi told me it takes them twice as long to do the updates because English is not their first language (they both speak Romanian and Hungarian so actually English is their third language). Norbi told me sometimes he has to look up words in a dictionary and think about how to write the sentence. Wow, that didn’t even cross my mind before and if I had to do it in Romanian I’m sure it would take me a lot longer too especially with the grammar and the spelling.

I spent the rest of the day at home working on my blog. For dinner today I decided to try and make my own homemade chicken noodle soup. It was the first time I did it and it turned out to be a successful cooking experience! However in the future I just need to remember to boil the carrots first. Besides that the soup turned out to be really good!

In the evening I watched a movie called “Stomp the Yard 2 Homecoming”. I watched the first Stomp movie a couple of years ago. I didn’t realize there was another one until last week so I downloaded it and watched it today. It was a good movie. I really like what the leader of one of the step up groups told his team before the competition at the end of the movie so I stopped and played it until I got the whole advice of encouragement he gave his team.

This is what he told them “Each one of you has to decide that you want this so bad that nothing is going to stand in your way, that’s one thing that I know about this team is that we fight, we fight when the chips are down, we fight when the deck is stacked up against us, we fight every step of the journey until we don’t have any ounce to fight left. If we can stand together right here, right now as a family, there ain’t nothing that will stop us if we have enough courage to look past what’s wrong to see the value on what’s right, win or lose, we win.”

I really like that quote because it is about pushing forward, not giving up and team unity. I think it is definitely a great message for everyone to be reminded of the importance of perseverance and working together with a team.
