Sunday December 5, 2010

Today I had a good day. I went to church in the morning. I praise God that even though I was tired and I didn’t have anyone to translate for me that I understood a lot of the sermon which was encouraging (my Pastor spoke about how we can change our atmosphere by having the right attitude, having faith, speaking positively, etc) so it was a great morning at church!

The rest of the day I stayed home because it was cold and I didn’t feel like going back out. It was nice to relax and do some things at home that I had wanted to do. In the afternoon I did my Bible study homework, worked on my blog and sent out some e-mails. In the evening I spoke to my parents on Skype which was great because I always enjoying talking to them.

In the evening I also made some phone calls to Pathway to Joy’s sponsors. I called five people and out of the five I only got a hold of one person. The one person that I spoke to I felt so nervous when I spoke to her that at first she didn’t understand what I was talking about. I felt so bad for letting my nerves get in the way! I hope the woman I spoke to will still contact Pathway to Joy’s Florida office like she said she and doesn’t let my nerves get in her way of making that donation.

About Andrea

I am from Whitby, Ontario. I have lived in Romania for 9 years as a missionary but I am currently in Canada on a sabbatical break at this time. I have also lived in South Korea for a year and I have also been to Russia, Uganda, Albania and the Czech Republic on short-term mission trips. In 2012, God also gave me an amazing opportunity to go to Mozambique for the Harvest Mission School with Iris Ministries as well. I love children, reaching out to people who are in need and vulnerable, I have a passion to fight against the injustice issue of human trafficking and to simply share the love of Jesus wherever I go. I also love cats too and I have a cat of my own named Minnie!
