Today I had a day to relax because there was a problem with the car so we couldn’t visit the foster families. In a way I think I needed to slow down a bit today because the last few days have been extremely long and busy for me. I even ended up taking a nap today. This evening it started snowing for the first time this winter! Finally we are getting snow which makes me very happy!!

This evening I found a website that Fox and Walden have set up at NarniaFaith.com. It is a website to promote the new Narnia movie (The Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader) for the Christian audience. It even has notes and clips for sermons. Check it out! It is very interesting and let me know what you think of the movie! J

Here is the link to the website: www.narniafaith.com

I just wanted to encourage everyone to see The Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader on Friday or Saturday! It’s the opening weekend in Canada and in the United States. Those two days are what Hollywood looks at to gauge the success of a film and we need to show them that this franchise has legs. If we don’t we might never see the rest of the film series from the beloved C.S. Lewis books series which I hope won’t happen. It opened in Romania a week earlier than in North America and it is brilliant!!

Just before I head to bed I wanted to ask for prayers for tomorrow because I’m planning on handing out the packages of the mittens, hats and scarves to the children in the Sabolciu gypsy village!! 61 precious children will be blessed by your giving! Please pray that it will go very well when I hand them out and also when I share the gospel through the candy cane story. Thanks for your prayers and good night!

About Andrea

I am from Whitby, Ontario. I have lived in Romania for 9 years as a missionary but I am currently in Canada on a sabbatical break at this time. I have also lived in South Korea for a year and I have also been to Russia, Uganda, Albania and the Czech Republic on short-term mission trips. In 2012, God also gave me an amazing opportunity to go to Mozambique for the Harvest Mission School with Iris Ministries as well. I love children, reaching out to people who are in need and vulnerable, I have a passion to fight against the injustice issue of human trafficking and to simply share the love of Jesus wherever I go. I also love cats too and I have a cat of my own named Minnie!
