I stayed home today because we had a holiday from work so I decided to finish working on my photo albums on my facebook that I started yesterday. If you’re on facebook I just posted two new photo albums on my profile with the foster and gypsy children when they got their gifts from Canada of the hats, scarves and mittens. There are some really great pictures! Thank-you so much again for giving towards the precious children here!

In the evening I want to church for the Christmas Eve service at Viată Nouă (New Life) church which is where I used to go to before I switched to Salem church where I’m going now. My friend Kathy invited me and I thought I might as well go because I always enjoy going to church on Christmas Eve but I was so disappointed that there were no candle lights. I really missed that because I think it’s so pretty with the light off and everyone’s candles glowing. The service was really good besides that. The children did a drama which was really cute, the Pastor shared a short message and then we ended with a time of singing carols.

Oh, today I got a package in the mail from my Uncle Tom and my Aunt Debbie. It was my first Christmas present from home! I love my gift! I got two CDS (well actually 3 because one of the albums has 2 CDs in the case). I got the WOW Hits 2011 (various Christian artists which are some of my favourite that I listen on the radio all the time!) and Jeremy Camp’s worship CD called We Cry Out.

I also got The Blind Side movie which is a great movie! I decided to watch the movie before I went to bed. I saw the movie before with my Dad when I was in Canada at the theatres but it is so worth watching again because it is such an inspiring movie and it is based on a true story too. Well that’s it for today. I can’t believe that tomorrow will be Christmas Day!

About Andrea

I am from Whitby, Ontario. I have lived in Romania for 9 years as a missionary but I am currently in Canada on a sabbatical break at this time. I have also lived in South Korea for a year and I have also been to Russia, Uganda, Albania and the Czech Republic on short-term mission trips. In 2012, God also gave me an amazing opportunity to go to Mozambique for the Harvest Mission School with Iris Ministries as well. I love children, reaching out to people who are in need and vulnerable, I have a passion to fight against the injustice issue of human trafficking and to simply share the love of Jesus wherever I go. I also love cats too and I have a cat of my own named Minnie!
