This morning I did my quiet time in the kitchen again and it was better than yesterday because Minnie my cat behaved much better! I think it is better for me to change my environment in the morning when I wake up. When I sit up on the stool in my kitchen at the table I just feel more alert and wake compared to being on my bed. Unfortunately this morning I also woke up with a cold so I still struggled with getting out of bed!

I really enjoyed church this morning. I am starting to feel more focused during the worship time since I started my quiet time which is so great! After church I went to Carrefour store at the mall to get some grocery items and then I went home. In the afternoon I did my laundry and made a pot of soup for dinner.

Meg who is the American girl who will be staying with me for three weeks arrived at the Budapest airport at 11:50am (Hungarian time) today but the poor girl did not arrive at my apartment until 8:30pm! I had expected her to arrive anytime between 3:00 – 5:00pm and when she didn’t show up by 5:00pm I started to worry. It turned out because she took a shuttle transportation service she had to wait at the airport for a few more hours for four or five other students who flew in today and needed transportation to Oradea too.

I’m glad that Meg finally arrived at my apartment in Oradea safe and sound! Meg will be staying with me until Friday January 28th. She a university student and she is here for a service project with her school. This is actually her sixth time here so she already a lot of the children here so I’m sure she will have a great time with the kids!

We would really appreciate your prayers as we live together. Please pray that our time will be an enjoyable time together and also an encouraging time together too. Thanks! Oh, I got an update on Steve and Tiffiny. They arrived back in Romania this evening with the whole family! Praise God!!

About Andrea

I am from Whitby, Ontario. I have lived in Romania for 9 years as a missionary but I am currently in Canada on a sabbatical break at this time. I have also lived in South Korea for a year and I have also been to Russia, Uganda, Albania and the Czech Republic on short-term mission trips. In 2012, God also gave me an amazing opportunity to go to Mozambique for the Harvest Mission School with Iris Ministries as well. I love children, reaching out to people who are in need and vulnerable, I have a passion to fight against the injustice issue of human trafficking and to simply share the love of Jesus wherever I go. I also love cats too and I have a cat of my own named Minnie!
