This afternoon I went to Sabolciu with Mircea and Norbi. We had such a great time with the children! I brought a new set of flashcards to teach the children today. The kids enjoyed learning a new English lesson. I taught feelings (happy, sad, tired, etc). I think the lesson went well. Norbi brought a colouring sheet with Jesus and his disciples having the last supper. He explained about what the bread and wine represents to the children and then the kids enjoyed colouring.
Now this is the kind of English lesson I always wanted to do! When I worked at the English school in Târgu Mures and also with the gypsy children at Rozmarin school I couldn’t share the gospel or any Bible stories so what a blessing to have the freedom to do that here with the children at the Sabolciu gypsy village!
In the evening I worked on my blog and my newsletter for the month of January. I could not believe the writer’s block that I had! For some reason I really struggle with pulling my words together. I mean I had tons of ideas of what I wanted to write about but sometimes when I start off my newsletters I just struggle with finding the right words.
I also have to fit everything that I want to say in a short amount of space too which is sometimes challenging since there’s always a lot to write about that happened in the month. So, even though my newsletter is only two pages it usually takes me at least 5 hours or more to do it! 🙂
