I am so glad that Kim is here!! Today was a much better day. I spent three hours at

Florina, Maria and Daniel holding up the memory verse

Sabolciu with Mircea, Norbi and Kim. We had a really good time with the children. We sang songs, we did the memory verse in both languages (Philippians 4:13), the children got to watch a short film which was a special treat, then the kids coloured and they got candy at the end. Kim’s sister is a sponsor for one of the girls in the village so she sent some gifts to give to her and her brothers through Kim. I went with Kim to give out the gifts and help translate for her. I am so grateful of the great afternoon that we had with the children today!

After our time in Sabolciu I found out that Kim would be going to the orphan chapel. I had planned on going too so I asked Kim if it would be alright for us to spend time together at my director’s house. I also wanted to see Karen too and I knew having Kim there would be a great blessing for both of us. Kim told me that she didn’t mind so she phoned Karen and asked her if that would be alright with her. That was okay for her for me to go over to the house so that’s what I did.

I am really glad that I spontaneously decided to join Kim for a couple of hours at my

Maria and I

director’s house where she stayed. Kim brought a bunch of donated stuff for Sabolciu so she went through what she brought and then after a time Karen was able to join us. It turned out that both Karen and I were afraid to see each other face to face because of what happened last Saturday. How interesting of how the enemy just wants to put those negative thoughts into our minds and try his hardest to tear us apart!

Well we were both at first a bit nervous to meet so it was definitely a blessing from God to have Kim there for support for the both of us. I just praise God that we were able to talk things through, that everything is okay now between us and we were able to forgive each other. I was even a bit surprised how Karen apologized to me of how she got angry at me. She was very humbled. I felt so touched to see her humility as my director. I just praise God for bringing reconciliation to our relationship because only He can do this!

After I ate dinner with Kim and Karen, I went to the orphan chapel with Kim. It was great to see the kids and some of the children who knew Kim were excited to see her too. It was an extremely busy day but yet it was a really great day!! I just give God all the glory for what He has done today! What an awesome God we serve! 🙂
