What a great morning at church this morning. It was wonderful to see my church family again and what a blessing to worship in English and also hear the sermon in my first language too! It was so good to see everyone again. The Senior/Lead Pastor of my church started at my church last year in November so today was the first time that I met him in person. I had spoken to him a couple of times on Skype but it was great to finally meet him and his wife today in person today!

I also had a surprise invitation to the front after my Pastor gave the announcements. I wasn’t expecting it at all for my Pastor to invite me up to the front for me to share for a few minutes so I felt a bit nervous because I didn’t exactly know what to say. To be honest I kind of felt a bit awkward because I wasn’t sure if I should share about my financial support situation or not. However my Pastor, all of my supporters and friends were already aware of my situation so I’m sure they understood.

After the service I got a chance to speak to my friend Natalie about my financial support situation. I actually was surprised to see her because I didn’t know that she had moved back to Ajax. She told me that she had moved back a couple of months ago. She was living in the Ottawa area for a time and working as a Children’s Pastor at a church there but unfortunately because of the church’s finances they weren’t able to keep her on staff anymore.

I’m really glad that I had a chance to talk to Natalie because she really helped me put into perspective that I have been worrying for nothing of the fear that I had if I become a PAOC missionary that I would have to leave the current organization that I’m working with now. She told me that there are actually a lot of PAOC missionaries that are partnered with other organizations and it is quite a common thing. She told me that basically I would become a PAOC missionary and just be partnered with the organization that I’m currently working with.

After I spoke to her that gave me a real sense of peace that everything will work out for me to be able to continue to work with the children that I’m working with now at the Sabolciu gypsy village. I really do have such a deep heart’s desire to see these children grow up and see the cycle of poverty broken in their lives. I need to have more faith that God will work everything out and stop worrying about every little thing!

After church I did a few errands with my parents before we went home. One of the places we stopped at was this small convenient store for me to get my passport picture taken. On Wednesday (March 23rd) my Mom and I are going to Toronto because we have an appointment at the American consultant for me to get my American passport renewed. I thought it would be a good idea to do that since it hasn’t been renewed in a while and also since I have dual citizenship it is always nice to have too.

The rest of the day I worked on my blog. In the evening I was able to watch three of my favourite shows on TV which are: Amazing Race, Undercover Boss and CSI Miami. It was nice to have an evening to watch TV with my parents and I was even surprised that Jonathan my brother joined us too. It was a good day!

Okay, I have no idea why my blog entry posted after Monday March 14th. I could be because I had just realized the Romania time zone was still on my settings so I just switched it to the Toronto time zone. I do apologize for that!

In 2012, God also gave me an amazing opportunity to go to Mozambique for the Harvest Mission School with Iris Ministries as well.
