Well today was a very busy and exhausting day! My Mom and I went to Toronto when my Dad went to work this morning. We had a 9:00am appointment at the American consultant for me to get my passport renewed (I have dual citizenship since my Mom is American). We left this morning at 6:30am, we thought we would have lots of time to spare but we ended up being late for the appointment because it took us 2 ½ hours to get there! We couldn’t believe the traffic and the weather (we got snow again).

I felt bad that my Dad was late for work but thankfully everything turned out fine. I got my American passport renewed and I even applied for a social security number just in case I ever want to work in the States. Afterwards my Mom and I went to the Eaton’s Centre to do a little shopping and have lunch. I ended up buying a new i pod because my old doesn’t really work well anymore. It was a very busy but a productive day!

In the evening I relaxed at home because I felt tired from the busyness of the day. I also booked my flight for Florida which is exciting! I have been invited to help with the fundraising for the educational centre for the gypsy village where I work. I will be in Florida from May 10th – 21st before my family’s camping trip.

I will be working with Kim Wasserman who is one of the American staff for the organization I work for and her role is the development coordinator. Kim basically fundraises for different projects Pathway to Joy does in Romania. It will be great to work alongside of her for a bit and also Irene Bryers too! We would appreciate your prayers for God to provide appointments for us to share about the children in Romania at different locations (churches, schools, bible studies, etc). Thanks!

About Andrea

I am from Whitby, Ontario. I have lived in Romania for 9 years as a missionary but I am currently in Canada on a sabbatical break at this time. I have also lived in South Korea for a year and I have also been to Russia, Uganda, Albania and the Czech Republic on short-term mission trips. In 2012, God also gave me an amazing opportunity to go to Mozambique for the Harvest Mission School with Iris Ministries as well. I love children, reaching out to people who are in need and vulnerable, I have a passion to fight against the injustice issue of human trafficking and to simply share the love of Jesus wherever I go. I also love cats too and I have a cat of my own named Minnie!
