Happy Mother’s Day to my Mom and all of the wonderful Moms! The weather was beautiful to celebrate our Moms today!! I am so grateful for the great relationship that I have with my Mom, for all of the support that she has given me to serve God in Romania and also for all of her encouragement. I am also so grateful for all of the women who have been like my “Moms” to me over the years in my own life. I really believe that everyone needs someone to mentor and inspire them to run the race that has been set before us to run in our lives.

This morning I went to church with my family. I thought it was really nice that the church did something special for not only all of the Mothers but also all of the women in the church. My Pastor invited all of the women up to the front to knowledge us and pray for us.

Happy Mother's Day to Janny and my Mom!!

All of us received a decorative nail filer and also a flower. I thought that was really nice of them to do that for us! In Romania there is not a Mother’s Day but a Women’s Day which I think is very neat because not everyone is a Mother but women are all special and deserve recognition sometimes for all the hard work that they do.

This afternoon was another blessing. My Mom cooked a delicious turkey dinner which was great because I missed my turkey dinner with my family both for Thanksgiving and Christmas so my Mom wanted give me a turkey dinner while I am home this time. Chester and Janny joined us and also Jack who is another good friend of ours that we have known for a while now. It is always such a blessing to share good food with great friends! The afternoon was a very encouraging time with the conversations that we had over the dinner time and afterwards. We also had a Mother’s Day cake for my Mom and Janny too!

This evening I watched “The Amazing Race” TV show with my parents. It was the season

I love guests for dinner!

finale of the show so it was quite intense. Krisha and Jen who are sisters came in first place and they are the second women team in a row to win the Amazing Race!!   Flight Time and Big Easy who are basketball players came in second and Gary and Mallory who are father and daughter came in third place. It was a great season and it is still my all time favourite TV show!

It was a very busy weekend but also a great one! It was a blessing to spend it with friends and encourage each other. Janny also blessed me with replacing my zipper on my favourite purse so now I can use my purse again with it fully zipped up! I did not want to throw it away so I am so glad that I was able to get the zipper replaced. I am so grateful for all of the blessings that I have received from God whether big or small!!
