I cannot believe that one month to this date (June 16th) I will be flying back to Romania!! It won’t be long until I get back on that plane and see the kids and my Minnie my cat again!

Today I stayed at Kim’s house and in the evening I spent it with Jim and Irene. Jim is the

Irene and Jim

person who does all of the design and printing for Pathway to Joy Ministries. They have been to Romania quite a few times and they also sponsor Alina and Alexandra who are two sisters and are in the ministry’s foster care program.

It was a blessing to receive an invitation to their house for dinner and spend the evening with them. I had a wonderful time with them. I showed them my pictures from my photo album and we shared some of our stories with each other. I also found out more what goes on with the printing and administration end of the ministry.

They will be returning to Romania for the month of June to update some administration stuff and they will do a film at the Sabolciu gypsy village with the children singing for a fundraising project for the feeding and educational centre. I asked Jim if it would be possible for him to print new prayer cards for me. He said that wouldn’t be a problem so that is a real blessing! It was a great day and I felt very encouraged by Jim and Irene!

About Andrea

I am from Whitby, Ontario. I have lived in Romania for 9 years as a missionary but I am currently in Canada on a sabbatical break at this time. I have also lived in South Korea for a year and I have also been to Russia, Uganda, Albania and the Czech Republic on short-term mission trips. In 2012, God also gave me an amazing opportunity to go to Mozambique for the Harvest Mission School with Iris Ministries as well. I love children, reaching out to people who are in need and vulnerable, I have a passion to fight against the injustice issue of human trafficking and to simply share the love of Jesus wherever I go. I also love cats too and I have a cat of my own named Minnie!
