Today I had another great day! I ended up going to the Viată Nouă (New Life) church which is the church that I used to go to before I decided to go to Salem church. The Viată Nouă church is pretty close to where I live so I decided to go there this morning since I got up too late to go to Salem church (it was great though to sleep through the whole night!).

I am glad though that I went to this church because I got to see a couple of my friends from my former Bible study group that I was a part of from this church. It was great to see Sue, her two friends and three of the older orphan kids who used to live at CP2 there too. Oh, the sermon was in English which was wonderful for my first Sunday back in Romania! The church had a guess speaker from the States who is a missionary. I was very inspired by the message that the he shared because it was about different things that God is doing in the countries that his ministry is working in.

Then I ended up spending the afternoon with Sue, her friends and the three older orphan kids at her place which was really nice. It was great to spend time with them and get to know them a bit better. The rest of the day I spent it at home with my Minnie (my cat). It was a good day!

About Andrea

I am from Whitby, Ontario. I have lived in Romania for 9 years as a missionary but I am currently in Canada on a sabbatical break at this time. I have also lived in South Korea for a year and I have also been to Russia, Uganda, Albania and the Czech Republic on short-term mission trips. In 2012, God also gave me an amazing opportunity to go to Mozambique for the Harvest Mission School with Iris Ministries as well. I love children, reaching out to people who are in need and vulnerable, I have a passion to fight against the injustice issue of human trafficking and to simply share the love of Jesus wherever I go. I also love cats too and I have a cat of my own named Minnie!
