Today I had a great day! This afternoon my friend Eva who is one of the older orphan girls from the orphanage came over to my apartment to hang out. I think Eva was happy that she got to finally look at the camp pictures that I took and post her own photo album on her facebook page. I always love spending time with her because she has such a great heart!

In the evening I went to my ladies Bible study group at Karen’s house (she is my director). We had a smaller group then we usually do but we still had a good time together and it was a good study too. It is so great to be back with my small group because most of the study I have done it by myself in Canada so it is great to be back with them. We only have a few meetings left so it’s hard to believe it’s almost over. I am so grateful for these Bible studies!

Afterwards I asked Karen if it would be alright for me to go to my best friend’s wedding in Târgu Mures next weekend which is on Saturday August 13th.  I asked her because I wasn’t sure if I would be able to or not because today a new team arrived and the wedding would be during the time they are here. I felt nervous about asking for two days off but when I did ask it was no problem at all. Wow, I am so glad that I can go to Cristina and Adi’s wedding!! I really want to thank God for working that out!!

About Andrea

I am from Whitby, Ontario. I have lived in Romania for 9 years as a missionary but I am currently in Canada on a sabbatical break at this time. I have also lived in South Korea for a year and I have also been to Russia, Uganda, Albania and the Czech Republic on short-term mission trips. In 2012, God also gave me an amazing opportunity to go to Mozambique for the Harvest Mission School with Iris Ministries as well. I love children, reaching out to people who are in need and vulnerable, I have a passion to fight against the injustice issue of human trafficking and to simply share the love of Jesus wherever I go. I also love cats too and I have a cat of my own named Minnie!
