“How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!”                                                                                                                       – 1 John 3:1

This morning I went to church. The service was good but as I spoke to a couple of people about what I am currently struggling with I almost started crying. When I went home afterwards my heart felt heavy again. Today I spent a bit of time with God but it was still difficult to just be still before Him because my emotions were everywhere again. I know I need to give this fully to God. I would appreciate your continual prayers at this time, thanks.

This evening I watched “America’s Got Talent” (this week’s episodes). I just love this TV show so much because the people bring so much talent to the stage!! My Uncle Eugene, Aunt Phyllis, Aunt Sharon and my Grandpa were at my parent’s house today for a BBQ so I was able to speak to them a bit on Skype which was nice.

It was a blessing to also be able to speak to my friend Nicoleta on yahoo messenger this evening (she is my Romanian friend from Bucharest and we were on a team together in May/June 2005). We haven’t spoken in a while so it was great to connect again and she really encouraged me a lot too!

About Andrea

I am from Whitby, Ontario. I have lived in Romania for 9 years as a missionary but I am currently in Canada on a sabbatical break at this time. I have also lived in South Korea for a year and I have also been to Russia, Uganda, Albania and the Czech Republic on short-term mission trips. In 2012, God also gave me an amazing opportunity to go to Mozambique for the Harvest Mission School with Iris Ministries as well. I love children, reaching out to people who are in need and vulnerable, I have a passion to fight against the injustice issue of human trafficking and to simply share the love of Jesus wherever I go. I also love cats too and I have a cat of my own named Minnie!
