This morning I got to go to my former home church in Reghin! I am so thankful that I was able to get a ride with Pastor Liviu and his wife Ioana. It was so good beyond what I could possibility put into words to be able to go back to my former home church because it felt like I was at home again! It was so great to see everyone again and they seemed surprised to see me too because I didn’t tell hardly anyone that I was going to be there. It was so sweet how so many people embraced me with hugs and asked me how I am doing.

The worship was awesome and I felt the sweet presence of God immediately as we entered into worship. Oh, how I miss worshipping with them because their hearts are so hungry for God! Pastor Liviu preached a great message from 2 Kings 4:1 – 7, which was about the widow’s oil.  I was reminded that I need to become more desperate and increase my faith when I seek after God.

After the service I felt I really needed prayer before I returned to Oradea so Pastor Liviu and a couple of other people prayed for me. I’m so grateful of how God touched me in a special way, gave me His peace and spoke to me to not be afraid but to trust in Him more. I am thankful for the prayer ministry time that I received and how God met me in a special way. What a blessing it was return to my former home church!

After church I went to Steve and Liz’s place for a quick bite to eat before I returned to Oradea. When I was at their apartment I discovered before we ate lunch that my dress shoes that I wore to the wedding were missing so I panicked. I phoned my friend Anna to see if somehow I had forgot them in the car and it turned out I did. Thankfully Anna and Darius were able to bring them to me before I left which was incredibly nice of them to do that because Anna was on her way to the airport (she went to Germany for a couple of weeks).

At 2:30pm I took a taxi to the autogara (bus station) and thankfully I got there on time before the maxi taxi (mini bus) left for Oradea. At 3:00pm the maxi taxi left for the 5 hour trip back to Oradea. It was another long trip back and extremely hot too which was quite uncomfortable to travel in that heat. I don’t know why but for some reason the windows in the maxi taxi don’t open because they have air conditioning however I hardly felt the air conditioning at all.

We stopped in Cluj for 30 minutes on the way back and we arrived in Oradea at 8:00pm. The maxi taxi arrived near the train station so I decided to take the tram home because I have a tram pass and the tram came right away. I got home at 8:30pm. I felt wiped out from my trip back home but at the same time I was so glad to see Minnie again when I arrived home! I just want to praise God for the many wonderful blessings that He gave me this weekend!
