This afternoon I got to go to the Sabolciu gypsy village with Mircea and Norbi. They asked

Some of the kids in Sabolciu

me if I could start teaching English again next week. I told them that I’d love to but I’d like to work together with them and do it the Bible clubs at the same time so we are going to work together on that which will be much better. I had such a great time with the kids today! My heart was filled with so much joy just being with them!

My poor little Lensi burned her hands and she has blisters on both of her hands (she didn’t do it when we were there but another time). Norbi cleaned her hands and put bandages on her left hand because she had a much larger blister on that one compared to her other hand. While Norbi treated her hands she started to cry.

I was there with them to comfort her. I almost started to cry when she cried because I felt

Lensi and I

so bad for her. I recently burned my left thumb pretty bad with a hot glue gun so I know how it feels to get burned. Please keep Lensi in your prayers that her little hands would heal soon. Thanks so much for your prayers!

In the evening I posted a new photo album on my facebook page called “Our Amazing Summer Interns”. It is basically a photo album with pictures of different things that our interns did this summer. I am so grateful that they came to Romania this past summer! Please feel free to check the pictures on my facebook! I also watched the movie “Rio”. What a cute movie! I loved it!! 🙂

About Andrea

I am from Whitby, Ontario. I have lived in Romania for 9 years as a missionary but I am currently in Canada on a sabbatical break at this time. I have also lived in South Korea for a year and I have also been to Russia, Uganda, Albania and the Czech Republic on short-term mission trips. In 2012, God also gave me an amazing opportunity to go to Mozambique for the Harvest Mission School with Iris Ministries as well. I love children, reaching out to people who are in need and vulnerable, I have a passion to fight against the injustice issue of human trafficking and to simply share the love of Jesus wherever I go. I also love cats too and I have a cat of my own named Minnie!
