This morning my landlord came over for his “monthly visit” around 9:00am. Even though he doesn’t speak or know a word of English I am so grateful for him being my landlord because he is such a great landlord! I am so grateful for God’s continual provision in my life! God is my provider and I am so thankful of how God is providing for me to live and serve Him here in Romania. I am also so grateful for all of my supporters who continually stand with me and believe in what the Lord has called me to do so thank-you everyone for your amazing support you are to me!
This afternoon I went to Sabolciu with Norbi, Salomea and Ibi. We finished measuring all of
the children in the village for their Christmas gifts that they will receive from the team that will come in December. It was great to see the kids like always but I felt quite frustrated that we were not there very long at all. We only went for one hour which was very disappointing to me because I really wanted to spend a lot more time with the kids today especially since Norbi has to take a couple of the families to the hospital tomorrow and Friday I will be going to the church retreat. I feel frustrated that I was only able to go to Sabolciu twice this week. I would really appreciate your prayers that I will be able to spend a lot more time with the kids, thanks so much!
When I got home today from Sabolciu I decided to study Romanian for a couple of hours. I was surprised that I spent 3 hours studying because I didn’t plan on studying that long. I ended up reviewing all of the lessons I had previously studied on the Live Mocha website by taking vocabulary tests to see if I had remembered the words that I had already learned. I surprised myself that I ended up getting 100% correct on 10 out of 11 flashcards sets! Wow, so I guess that I am remembering what I’m learning and now I just need to practice speaking it in everyday context!
In the evening I watched two TV shows “So You Think You Can Dance Canada” and “America’s Got Talent”. I love these two shows and especially “America’s Got Talent” because there is so much variety in this show and the talent people bring to the stage is incredible! This is the first season that I am watching this TV show and this is the sixth season so I really don’t know why I didn’t watch this show before. When I was in Canada I watched it for the first time with my parents and I got hooked on it! Is anyone else a fan of this show?
