During the day I stayed home and did some things. I spent some time with God, worked on my blog, studied Romanian and ironed some clothes and some other things. In the afternoon I watched the result show of the first semi finals of “America’s Got Talent”. Oh, I just love this TV show! Is anyone else a fan of this TV show?

I was going to go with my friend Lori to the gypsy village where she works for a ladies meeting today because I was curious how she has been teaching the ladies there but plans changed at the last minute so I didn’t end up going since they got called to work. I ended up going instead with my friend Ana to her church meeting. Around 4:00pm she called me and invited me because it was a special meeting with her church with a prophet from Holland and I was interested in going with her.

I am so glad I went with Ana to her church meeting because it was great to spend time with her (we even spoke in Romanian which was great because we hardly speak in Romanian with each other) and I also felt very encouraged too. The meeting began with a time of worship and prayer, then Gordon (the guest speaker) shared a short message and then we ended it with a time of prayer.

After Gordon shared, he asked us to wait upon God to take time to listen to what the Lord wanted to speak to our hearts. It was a time where we quieten our hearts and minds before God. During that time I just felt a sense of God’s peace and the Lord gently spoke to my heart again not to be afraid to speak in the Romanian language but just to be freer to speak out.

After that Gordon asked us to find partners to pray for each other. I prayed with the girl who sat next to me and then when we finished praying for each other we talked for a bit. I was encouraged by that time we had together. Then, Gordon came up to me and asked me if it would be alright with me if he can give a word of prophecy for me. I told him that is fine with me and God really encouraged me by the word I received.

I don’t remember everything I received but two main things I do remember are just to learn to relax a bit more and not be so stressed and also to stop doubting if I’m in God’s will because I am exactly where I am suppose to be right now.  They were good reminders for me and it was an encouragement for me as well.

When I got home it was quite late (around 11:00pm) but I’m so glad that I went though. Before I went to bed I had to pack for the weekend because tomorrow morning I’m leaving for my church retreat. I would appreciate your prayers that it would be both a time to meet with God and also to meet new people and build relationships with them. Thanks for your prayers!
