I had a really great afternoon with the children today at the Sabolciu gypsy village!  We played with the kids outside for a bit and then we went into the church the second half of our time there. Mircea told the Bible story when Jesus fed the 5,000 and then the kids

Mihaela holding the picture she colored.

coloured a picture of the story. Mihaela who is an 11 year old from the village did an amazing job at colouring her picture! She then wanted me to give it to Sandra who was on the last team and she asked me to help her write a letter for her too. I think it is so sweet how much they miss individual people from the teams that visit here in Romania.

Today I found out that two of my Romanian friends are going to go to the Jesus Culture concert that I’m going to in Budapest which will be on October 2nd. Now I’m more excited to be going with my friends! It’s going to be awesome to worship God with thousands of other Christians! This evening I listened to some really great new songs by Jesus Culture and I also listened to a great sermon by Kim Walker too. She is in the band and she spoke on worship. Oh, I can’t wait until the concert!!

Here is one of Jesus Culture’s newest songs called “Fill Me Up”. Kim Walker leads the song and it is incredible! I just love this song! Oh, God fill me up!!

About Andrea

I am from Whitby, Ontario. I have lived in Romania for 9 years as a missionary but I am currently in Canada on a sabbatical break at this time. I have also lived in South Korea for a year and I have also been to Russia, Uganda, Albania and the Czech Republic on short-term mission trips. In 2012, God also gave me an amazing opportunity to go to Mozambique for the Harvest Mission School with Iris Ministries as well. I love children, reaching out to people who are in need and vulnerable, I have a passion to fight against the injustice issue of human trafficking and to simply share the love of Jesus wherever I go. I also love cats too and I have a cat of my own named Minnie!
