This afternoon I had a great time with the kids in Sabolciu. I went there with Mircea and Salomea. We spent a good couple of hours in the village. The first half of our time there we played with skipping ropes with the kids. Some of the children were quite good at it! After a time of free play outside, then we went into the church to do a program with the kids for the rest of our time there.

Today I attempted to teach an English lesson but that didn’t end up happening however we did review the scripture verse (Philippians 4:13) that we taught them back in February and I was surprise that quite a few kids remembered the verse in both languages! I brought stickers as a reward for the kids who said the scripture verse correctly and they seemed happy about that.

This evening God put a huge smile on my face when I spoke to my friend Liz about my Romanian visa situation. Tomorrow she is going to e-mail me examples of the two papers that I need to finish my paper work! What an answer to prayer because I had been trying to get a hold of this missionary family in Oradea but I didn’t have any success with that so far. I hope to be able to return to the immigration office on Friday. Thank-you for your prayers!

About Andrea

I am from Whitby, Ontario. I have lived in Romania for 9 years as a missionary but I am currently in Canada on a sabbatical break at this time. I have also lived in South Korea for a year and I have also been to Russia, Uganda, Albania and the Czech Republic on short-term mission trips. In 2012, God also gave me an amazing opportunity to go to Mozambique for the Harvest Mission School with Iris Ministries as well. I love children, reaching out to people who are in need and vulnerable, I have a passion to fight against the injustice issue of human trafficking and to simply share the love of Jesus wherever I go. I also love cats too and I have a cat of my own named Minnie!
