This afternoon I was able to meet with my friend Lori at her house and finalize my two papers (volunteer contract and fisa postului/ job description) that I needed for my new volunteer one year visa. I am thankful that she was able to help me finish them today so they were able to get done. Afterwards I went to the foundation’s office to get them printed and stamped by Magda.

In the evening I went to my women’s Bible study group at Karen’s house. I went there with Kinga, Bianca and Mirela. Today we did week ten of the study which was our last week’s study on the life of David by Beth Moore. We had a bit of a smaller group today because a couple of people couldn’t come but it was great to get together again. The last time we were together was at the beginning of August so it was great to see everyone again.

We had a great study! I just love the teachings by Beth Moore. Today’s DVD teaching was on Psalm 23. I have read this Psalm so many times but God brought it to me in a fresh way through the teaching I heard today. A couple of the things that Beth said which encouraged me are: “Everything that God has been to you, He still is”.  “If you have a heart to do the will of God, the will of God will find you”. I am also very glad that I was able to get my papers signed by my director Cornel this evening too.
