This afternoon I went to the Sabolciu gypsy village with Norbi. It was great to spend time with the children today. We did a short program in the church with the children where we prayed, sang songs and I taught a short English lesson. Today I taught a lesson on feelings (happy, sad, tired, hungry, etc). I was so impressed with a couple of the kids who learned the words so quickly! The kids did a great job today and I look forward to teaching them again next time.

Early in the evening I spoke to my friend Stefan about going to the Jesus Culture concert. I was surprised to hear that we have a vehicle but no driver. He told me that he will buy one more ticket for the driver in faith and he will ask around if anyone is interested in going with us. He asked me to pray for this. I told I will.

I decided to send out a prayer request out to some of my prayer supporters about this and I also posted it on my facebook page as well. This is what I wrote on my facebook post: “I have a prayer request. I’ll be going to the Jesus Culture concert in Budapest with four of my friends. God has provided us with a vehicle but we only have one problem we need a driver! Please pray that God will provide someone not only to drive but also someone who wants to worship God with us. We’re going to bless him or her with the ticket and the gas money too”.

I put that prayer request post up at 8:57pm and I got a response from my friend Ramona at 9:40pm saying that she is available to come and drive! Wow, don’t we serve such an awesome God?! I was so surprised and filled with so much joy by the quick response. I was just blown away by the quick response and just rejoiced in God!

I had such a huge smile on my face when I spoke to Ramona more about it that she had wanted to go but she didn’t know how and she didn’t have enough money to go. I’m so glad that she can go and we can bless her! It’s also great too that she knows the other people so she won’t feel awkward with being with new people. I’m so excited to worship God next Sunday with thousands of other people! It will be a taste of what heaven will be like! My faith was definitely built up this evening. God you are so good and faithful!!

This evening I also spoke to my Mom on Skype for almost 40 minutes. It was so great to talk to her and catch up a bit because the last time we talked was last week. I told her how things are going here in Romania and she told me how the rest of their vacation went at Myrtle Beach. I’m so glad they had a great time there. I miss my parents and my brother. I love my family so much!

We will have a team from Florida that will come to Romania for a week in December. This team will be giving the children Christmas parties which is very exciting because we didn’t have a team in December last year! They are also sending a container over to bless the kids even more. They are still in the process of filling it up and it has to go out by October 3rd. If you are interested in blessing the orphan and gypsy children in Romania then please click on this link. Thank-you so much!
