Today I went to Sabolciu with Mircea. We were at the village for around 2 hours. It was good to see the kids today but honestly it was another frustrating day with their poor behaviour. I couldn’t believe what a couple of the kids did to the car! A couple of the boys took the license plate off the car when Mircea and I weren’t around the car.

I really don’t think they know how to respect property or people because one of the girls even slapped me across the face and my glasses even fell off. I was not happy about that at all because I had to get them re-adjusted when I went back to Oradea. I just don’t understand them sometimes because some days they are so good and other days are not very good at all. We would appreciate your continual prayers for the ministry that we do there with the kids, thanks.

After my time in Sabolciu I got together with my friend Lori and her kids for a couple of hours. Next week they will be flying back to the States for 9 months so I wanted to get together with her before she leaves. We went to the Christian cafe to enjoy something to drink and eat. Today we had great weather so we sat outside. Afterwards we went to Kaufland to get some groceries and then we said our good-byes.

I am so grateful beyond what I could possibility put into words how much help that she gave to me with getting my new Romanian visa. I know that I definitely could not have done it without her help. I thank the Lord for all the friends that He placed in our lives and who are all such a blessing in different seasons in our lives.

About Andrea

I am from Whitby, Ontario. I have lived in Romania for 9 years as a missionary but I am currently in Canada on a sabbatical break at this time. I have also lived in South Korea for a year and I have also been to Russia, Uganda, Albania and the Czech Republic on short-term mission trips. In 2012, God also gave me an amazing opportunity to go to Mozambique for the Harvest Mission School with Iris Ministries as well. I love children, reaching out to people who are in need and vulnerable, I have a passion to fight against the injustice issue of human trafficking and to simply share the love of Jesus wherever I go. I also love cats too and I have a cat of my own named Minnie!
