Wednesday October 5, 2011

Today unfortunately I was not able to go to Sabolciu again because Norbi and Mircea had to take care of some medical care visits for some of the people from the village. It was disappointing to not go again because the last time I was there was last week on Wednesday so now it has been a week since I have been there. I am starting to miss the kids. Thankfully I had a very productive day at home. I worked on my blog all day and I was able to write eleven new entries on my blog today which was an accomplishment.

In the evening I watched CSI Miami TV show and the movie “One Night with the King” which is the story about Esther in Bible. One of the ladies in my Bible study group told me about the movie because they watched it with their last group study so I was curious how they put it into film. It was not 100% accurate to scripture however I still thought they did a good job in putting the movie together.

Update on Pastor Youcef in Iran:

Today, there are new disturbing and conflicting falsehoods being spread by Iranian state-funded Press TV. There is an article that goes on to contradict itself, calling Pastor Youcef “a convicted rapist and extortionist,” and quoting the Deputy Governor of the Gilan Province, Ali Rezvani, as saying that “This individual is guilty and his crime is not attempting to convert others to Christianity, rather his crimes are of a security nature.”

I honestly cannot believe that a country would make up such lies to stop the pressure on international media! The American Center for Law and Justice Center have the original documents and it was translated into English so they know and the world knows that Iran is trying to cover themselves and spread these lies that are very disturbing and conflicting falsehoods about Pastor Youcef. We must keep praying for Pastor Youcef and continue to sign the petition because time is crucial.
