I had such an amazing day with the orphan kids today!! Last week I missed the orphan mentoring younger kids club and older kids chapel because I went to that conference with the international church and didn’t realized how much I had missed the kids until I saw them today. When I went to the orphanage to help the younger children prepare for going to their club/chapel it was so cute how some of them were excited to see me!

I had a blast with the younger kids today at their chapel! I can honestly say today was the

Lavi and I

first time since I started volunteering with the younger orphan kids that I had the best bonding time with them! It was sooooo very sweet how little Lavi who is 4 years old wanted to be by my side almost the entire time!

I was a bit surprised to see how she wanted to be with me so much today because that was the first time she did that. I told her I love her today and she then responded to me with I love you too. Ah, it was just so sweet!! I just want to praise God for the wonderful bonding moments that He gave me with the kids today!

I also went to the older orphan kids chapel today too. We had a great time at chapel and it was a pretty good turn out too (I think around 15 kids came). We had a wonderful time of worship, and then we practiced a couple of Christmas songs that we’ll sing with the team in a couple of weeks and then we reviewed the first three chapters of the gospel of Mark. It was a great day!

I’m so glad the Agape church in Timiosara is having their annual conference again this year from December 29, 2011 to January 1, 2012. I went last year and it was an awesome way to end the year and start the New Year with God so I’m really looking forward to going again this year!

I am from Whitby, Ontario. I have lived in Romania for 9 years as a missionary but I am currently in Canada on a sabbatical break at this time. I have also lived in South Korea for a year and I have also been to Russia, Uganda, Albania and the Czech Republic on short-term mission trips. In 2012, God also gave me an amazing opportunity to go to Mozambique for the Harvest Mission School with Iris Ministries as well. I love children, reaching out to people who are in need and vulnerable, I have a passion to fight against the injustice issue of human trafficking and to simply share the love of Jesus wherever I go. I also love cats too and I have a cat of my own named Minnie!
