Today was a pretty busy day! I went to Sabolciu gypsy village with Norbi and Salomea in
the morning where we spent a couple of hours putting up the Christmas tree and decorating the church for the Christmas party that we will have next week. It was so great to have some of the older boys help us today! It was wonderful to have their help and they seemed to really enjoy helping us put up the tree and making the church look all festive!
Then the rest of the day I spent it with the orphan kids. I really enjoy spending time with the orphan kids on Fridays especially because I only have one day during the week to be with them so I am thankful for my time that I have with them when I am able to be with them. The younger orphan children had a great time at their chapel! I thought it was cute when we showed the kids pictures of them from activities that we have done with them since the summer time and how they got really excited when they saw their picture on their screen.
The older kid’s chapel went really well too. We sang some worship songs and also a couple of the Christmas songs that we will sing at the Christmas party next week. One of the older girls did an awesome job with doing the game of “Who Wants to be a Millionaire”! It was on Mark chapter 3 and she completed it all the way to the end. We also watched a movie called “Sarah’s Choice” which was a very good movie. Rebecca St. James is one of the actresses in this film, it is a pro-life film and it was made by a Christian movie producers. I highly recommend this movie for everyone to see.
When I came home from the orphan chapel I relaxed at home for the rest of the evening, chatted with friends on facebook and I spoke to my Mom on Skype for around an hour. It was a good day and I’m very excited that we’ll be giving the kids Christmas parties next week! Oh, today the team from St. Petersburg, Florida flew out and they will be arriving tomorrow afternoon in Romania! I actually won’t be seeing them until Sunday morning though. I’m so excited to see them here very soon!!
