Staff Christmas Party!

Saturday December 10, 2011

Today it was such a blessing to end the week with the team and all of the staff from all the projects that serve with Pathway to Joy Ministries at the staff Christmas party!! We packed forty people in the House of Joy (including the children and the team) and we had such a great time! We enjoyed some delicious food; we sang some Christmas carols, played a fun game and took lots of great pictures! We took some individual project pictures and we finally got an all staff and an all

staff picture with extended family! We are rarely all together with all the project staff so I’m so glad that we finally got an all staff picture because I don’t think we did that before.

At the end of the evening the team blessed us with some Christmas gifts! I was thrilled to get a huge jar of Skippy peanut butter, a huge box of 60 granola bars, five mega packets of temptation snack treats for my cat Minnie and some other things! Wow, I’m so grateful to get stuff from the States! I felt so blessed way beyond what I can possibility put into words to serve with this team because not only did they come here to bless and encourage the children but also the staff too. They will fly out tomorrow morning and I’m going to really miss them a lot!

About Andrea

I am from Whitby, Ontario. I have lived in Romania for 9 years as a missionary but I am currently in Canada on a sabbatical break at this time. I have also lived in South Korea for a year and I have also been to Russia, Uganda, Albania and the Czech Republic on short-term mission trips. In 2012, God also gave me an amazing opportunity to go to Mozambique for the Harvest Mission School with Iris Ministries as well. I love children, reaching out to people who are in need and vulnerable, I have a passion to fight against the injustice issue of human trafficking and to simply share the love of Jesus wherever I go. I also love cats too and I have a cat of my own named Minnie!
