During the day I didn’t do much but I had a really great evening! I went to the international church for their second annual carolling service. We had a small group that came out (the weather might have affected the attendance because it poured rain and it was cold too) but we had a wonderful time together.
We had a time of singing carols, hearing scripture of the nativity Christmas story when God sent His son Jesus as a baby and we enjoyed some delicious food at the end! Oh, we even sang “Silent Night” with the lights off and all of us holding candles! It was such a great evening and such a blessing to attend the Christmas celebration service in English!
I just wanted to share some good news. I have received an invitation today to spend Christmas Day with a missionary family here in Oradea where I live. Praise God for answered prayer! They have four young children so it will be wonderful to spend Christmas with a family. I’m looking forward to it! I’d like to thank everyone that prayed for this. God is so good!
To every single one of you who are on my friends list on facebook – I enjoy catching up, looking at pictures, hearing about you and your family, sharing jokes and news, along with getting and sometimes giving, support, during good times and bad times too. I am not only glad to count you as my friends, but also as my ‘family’. As busy as we all are, let’s see who takes the time to read this post all the way through.
If you appreciate your ‘family’ and friends around the world, go ahead and copy this as your status too – even if it’s for just a minute. I’ll be watching to see who cherishes ‘family’ and friendship just as I do. Thank you all for being part of my life, and Merry Christmas.
