Today was the second full day at the conference and it was just awesome!! I can’t even put  into words how great it was to spend it at church and just be in God’s presence today and also bring in the New Year with God! This morning I started my day off with a great morning with worship and teaching. Then there were two great seminars that I went to (“Priesthood in the family” and “Living in the Word”).

At 3:00pm we had a break until 9:00pm so my friends and I all decided we needed a nice all good long nap to be awake for the night at church. It was good to go back to the place where we stayed for a nap because I felt very fatigue at church this morning. I have no idea why I felt so tired in the morning because I slept well the night before so that was kind of strange. I’m very grateful that I had a nap!

The New Year’s Eve service at church was just awesome and praise God that I didn’t feel tired during the night! The service started at 9:00pm and it ended at 5:30am. I couldn’t believe how quickly the time just passed as we worshipped God throughout the night with different worship bands, soaked in the teachings and prayer time and before you know it was midnight and then it was 5:30am!

Just after midnight we went around saying “La Multi Ani” which in Romanian it’s Happy Birthday but that’s what they say when it’s the New Year. I also said Happy New Year in English too! One of the worship bands did some Jewish Hebrew music which was pretty awesome and we had a time of marching around and then we prayed for revival for Romania.

Sometime during the night (I think around 1:00am) we had a time of consecration where the Senior Pastor invited us up to the front to consecrate ourselves before God for the  Year of 2012. For me that was a very special time to dedicate the New Year to God. Daniel Matei who is the Senior Pastor of the church then shared a prophetic word that God gave him for the church in Romania for 2012.

We also had a time where different people shared different testimonies as well. It was just awesome how some people saw angels in the room and one woman even saw Jesus in the room during the consecration prayer time. Wow, that just blows me away and it is just so humbling to know that God sent angels along us and Jesus himself walked along us! It is just mind blowing now when I think about it again. What an amazing God we serve!!

I don’t know how you brought in your New Year but for me bringing it in with God was the best thing ever and I wouldn’t trade it for anything! I just love being in God’s presence and spending time with Him. My heart is just longing to be more and more close to Jesus. My deepest heart’s cry is that my relationship with God will continue to grow in a more intimate and deep way more than ever before!
