This morning after the conference finished at 5:30am I ended up having a couple of hours nap because my friend that I went back with needed to rest before we left (I completely understood her because we stayed up all night). I am so thankful that I was able to have a nap in one of the rooms upstairs of the church because I was so tired.

We finally left from Timisoara around 12:30pm. I went back with my friend Gabi, her sister and also her two friends so it was a full car. It was nice to go back with the car because it was one hour less compared to the train however I don’t think it was that more comfortable though since I had all of my bags on my lap for 3 hours. I also heard Hungarian during the whole time we travelled too which was interesting for me because I’m so used to hearing Romanian. Oh, well I’m thankful for the transportation that God provided for me to get back to Oradea.

I arrived home around 3:45pm. It was so sweet when I got in the door of my apartment and picked up Minnie (my cat) because she purred right away. I could tell that she missed me because she doesn’t purr very often. Ah, so sweet! I missed her too and it was so good to see her again! My friend Eva was also there at my apartment when I arrived home. She took care of my cat for me while I was in Timisoara. She told me that Minnie was very good and she didn’t cry too much while I was while. I was glad to hear that my cat was fine when I was in Timisoara and I’m so thankful that Eva was able to take care of my kitty for me!

I’m very grateful that God gave me the opportunity again to go to the New Year’s Eve conference in Timisoara at the Agape church. What an awesome few days that was spent in God’s presence! I’m so thankful of how the Lord worked in my life during my time there and also how He spoke to me too. Thanks for your prayers while I was at the conference!

About Andrea

I am from Whitby, Ontario. I have lived in Romania for 9 years as a missionary but I am currently in Canada on a sabbatical break at this time. I have also lived in South Korea for a year and I have also been to Russia, Uganda, Albania and the Czech Republic on short-term mission trips. In 2012, God also gave me an amazing opportunity to go to Mozambique for the Harvest Mission School with Iris Ministries as well. I love children, reaching out to people who are in need and vulnerable, I have a passion to fight against the injustice issue of human trafficking and to simply share the love of Jesus wherever I go. I also love cats too and I have a cat of my own named Minnie!
