Today I had such a great day! In the morning I met with Patrick and Joy (they are my Bible study leaders) for an hour and a half at their apartment. I wanted to meet with them because I wanted to get their counsel and advice on something that I have been praying about that I feel very strongly that God is leading me to do this year.

I was so very encouraged from my time meeting with them today. I really believe that our time was very divine by God. I ended up sharing a bit of my testimony with them, how God has been leading me up to this point of making this decision of this opportunity God is leading me to do and just everything that has been on my heart. I am so very thankful for all of their advice, insight and encouragement that they gave me. They shared some scripture verses with me and at the end of our time together they also prayed for me.

The Lord really filled my heart with so much encouragement today from meeting with Patrick and Joy and I’m so thankful for that time we had! When I lived in Târgu Mures there was a missionary couple from Australia that God really used to mentor me while I lived there. Then I moved to Oradea and I kind of lost them as my mentors because we lost touch with each other and since I have lived here I haven’t found anyone that I can open myself up to enough that I can trust with certain issues and things in my life and someone who is mature enough in Lord to give me guidance and counsel.

When I first moved to Oradea I had met Joy and her daughter at a restaurant but then we lost touch with each other because her daughter went to college in States and for just other reasons but the interesting thing was we did become friends with each on facebook. Then in the middle of November I went to a conference and we re-connected with each other there. A couple of weeks later I started going to the English speaking service at the international church on Sunday which is the church where they go to and that was when they invited me to their Bible study group they have on Monday evenings.

I have been going now to this group regularly since December and I love it! I think it’s just awesome how God reconnects people together because I really needed to have a person or a couple to mentor me here in Oradea where I live now. I have asked Patrick and Joy if they would be interested in mentoring me (not necessary meeting every week but just to meet whenever there is a need) and they told me they are interested in doing that. I am so grateful that God has placed them into my life especially at this time when I need some guidance and mentorship right now in my life. God is so good!

The rest of the day I spent it home. I was able to get some things done that I needed to do. I also had a really great conversation with my friend Hannah on Skype today as well! I’m so thankful for the friendship that God has given us and I’m also very excited for what God has in store for the both of us this year! It was a really great day!
