“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven”. – Matthew 5:3
I had a great day! In the morning I went to the English speaking international church and then in the afternoon I went to the Săbolciu gypsy village with the other volunteers. I had such a great time at the church service that we had in the village! I just love hearing their prayers when we pray at the end of the service because they are just so deep and genuine when they pray in the village. It was also awesome to see more people come out to the service as well! I really believe God has great things in store for them!
I just wanted to let all of my supporters, friends and family know that if you receive my newsletters since it is already quite late this month I decided to combine my December and January newsletter together. I will send out my next one at the end of this month. Thanks for your understanding and I hope you had a blessed day today!
I have this devotional book. I use it every day during my quiet time with God and I just love it! I would like to highly recommend it to you too because I’m sure it will be an encouragement to you as much it has for me! Be blessed and know that our peace comes from Jesus!
Jesus Calling Devotional
My face is shining upon you, beaming out Peace that transcends understanding. You are surrounded by a sea of problems, but you are face to Face with Me, your Peace. As long as you focus on Me, you are safe. If you gaze too long at the myriad problems around you, you will sink under the weight of your burdens. When you start to sink, simply call out “Help me, Jesus!” and I will lift you up.
The closer you live to Me, the safer you are. Fix your eyes on Me, the one who never changes.
Philippians 4:7; Matthew 14:30; Hebrews 12:2
