“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus”.

Philippians 4:6-7

This morning I took Minnie (my cat) back to the vet. She again got a two in one vaccination for a pain reliever (anti-inflammatory) and antibiotics. I am so glad the taxi rides and the vet visit went very well! I praise God that tomorrow I don’t have to take Minnie back to the vet but I can just give her the pills at home for one more day of antibiotics. I also am so very grateful that I don’t have to take her back for her scheduled de-worming appointment too which is next week because I was also able to bring that pill home too! I praise God for Minnie’s quick healing and recovery! God is so good!!

In the evening I went to church. It was an amazing service and such an awesome time in God’s presence as His glory filled the room. My Pastor preached a message on the importance of praising and worshipping God. Then we had a time of seeking God together in prayer.

During the prayer ministry time my Pastor came over to me and placed one of his hands on my head, as soon as he did that God began to fill me with His glory and as he prayed for me His presence became so strong and rested on me even after he went on to pray for other people. One of the things that really encouraged me a lot when my Pastor came over to me was he said that he saw “open doors” for me.

After the service I told my Pastor that when he said those words to me of him seeing open doors that it really encouraged me a lot especially with this opportunity that I’m praying about doing this year and other things that I have been praying about. I also told my Pastor that yesterday I felt like I was being like “attacked by the enemy” when my cat got injured because I was so shook up and overcome by fear. I asked him if he could say a quick prayer for me especially for God’s peace. He was glad to do that. I am very grateful for the support and encouragement that my Pastor gives to me because it is such a blessing from God!
