“Be still, and know that I am God.” – Psalm 46:10a
This morning I went to church. We didn’t have very many people at church today because
of the weather but the service was still good. In the afternoon I went to the Săbolciu gypsy village with Dan, Steve, Cristi, Salomea and Andra. Before we headed to the village we had to dig the van out of the snow (yes we have that much snow!) and we were almost didn’t end up going because we didn’t have a shovel but thankfully we were able to borrow a couple of shovels to get the van out of the snow.
I couldn’t believe how few snow plows there were out on the roads. I just praise God for His protection as we drove to the village and back to the city
because the roads were pretty bad. I also want to praise God for such an amazing church service that we had! At one point we had up to 27 people packed into the small room where we have the service at Ica’s house. The prayer time was incredible too as they were prayers of desperation for God and I really felt God’s presence in that room! I just praise the Lord for what God is doing in the village, especially to see the spiritual hunger!
“You do not have to look far to see Jesus in the eyes of the dying, the broken, and the lost. He came with ceaseless love for both the one and for the masses. Now we must do the same: stop for the one, but believe for multitudes. This is the face of revival”.
