“For God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power, and of love and a sound mind.”

 2 Timothy 1:7

This evening I went to church. It was such an awesome time at church and I really want to thank the Lord of how He has been teaching me to pray especially using His word from this church. Oh and is it ever cold outside today. Right now it is -14c/6f!

This is what I got from one of my supporters and I thought it was helpful so I wanted to include it in my blog entry today.

The remedy for fear: trust in the Lord is the cure for a fearful spirit.

Faith comes from hearing the Word of God.

Fear comes by hearing and believing the turmoil in our lives.

When we keep our eyes on the trouble, we will have faith in the troubles

ability to harm or destroy our lives.

Pray, search the Word of God for the very promise that covers your specific situation.

Think about what that verse means.

Begin to say with your mouth what God says about your situation!

Say: I am blessed, God always causes me to triumph, I’m not going down, and I’m headed up.

I’m not going under, I’m going over.  I cheer up. I’m going up!

Great opportunities have been set in our path!  Let’s not let fear keep us back.
