“Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we consider him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed”.                                                       – Isaiah 53:4-5

This morning I woke up not feeling great at all. I think I got the fever because my body ached all over, I felt a bit hot, then cold and my head just throbbed with pain. Then on top of that I started to get a terrible cough and my nose started to run. I just felt weak all over and I hardly had any strength in me.

However, I was a bit stubborn because I knew I needed to get my laundry done today and this past week I did my Bible study homework every day so I still made myself go to my Bible study group in the evening. Though, I think I pushed myself way too much today because I didn’t feel well at all, I went out in the stormy snow weather and I didn’t enjoy myself like I usually do at the Bible study either.

I would really appreciate your prayers because today I just felt awful all day. I really don’t know what came over me this morning. Whatever it is I just want to get over this and real soon because I just hate being sick. Thanks so much for your prayers!
