“But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me”.                                              – 2 Corinthians 12:9

This was one of the scripture verses from my devotional reading today from the “Jesus Calling” book by Sarah Young. When I read this verse it really encouraged me because lately I have been feeling weak ever since I go this bad cold on Monday and it has been like my strength has been snap out of me. I just praise God for when we are weak, that is when Christ’s power is made perfect because we are relying more on Him and not on ourselves.

Unfortunately I had another bad night’s sleep and then on top of that I woke up with a painful stomach ache today so I stayed home again. On Thursday evenings I usually go to church but I didn’t think it would be wise to go out in the bitter cold weather with me being sick right now so I had to miss church today. Oh, I just want to get better! I would appreciate your continual prayers, thanks so much!
