“Forgetting what is behind and straining towards what is ahead. I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”

Phillippians 3:13b – 14

This afternoon and this evening I was with the orphan children and teens for our younger orphan club and older kid’s teen chapel. It was great to great to see the kids today and spend time with them. I only get to see the orphan kids once a week so it is a blessing to spend Fridays with them every week! I hope and pray that they will know God more and His love as we work with them every week.

Then afterwards I went to my church at 10:00pm for an all night prayer meeting that we have at the end of every month and wow was it ever AMAZING!!!! It started at 10:00pm and I didn’t get home until almost 5:00am the next morning! There were so many people there (I think over 70) and it was just awesome to worship the Lord and seek God in prayer with everyone. I honestly can’t even put into words how amazing it was to be in the Lord’s presence surrounded by passionate people after God and the prayer time was ever intense!

At the end of the meeting there was some time for prayer intercessory ministry time. I decided that I really wanted to ask for prayer because earlier in the day I had a conversation with someone that really brought a lot of discouragement to me and I just really needed the Lord to fill my heart with encouragement. My friend Stefan prayed for me and wow was it ever an anointed prayer! I just praise God for how He touched me, spoke words of encouragement to me, confirmed His call on my life and filled me with more of Him! I just want to give the Lord all the glory for what He did in my life tonight!

Here is one of my favourite Christian songs. It’s called “Remind Me Who I Am” and it’s written by Jason Gray. We truly are God’s beloved children!
