“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.”                                                                                          – 1 Peter 2:9

Today I went to the orphanage to spend time with the kids and teens there for our Friday younger orphan club and older kids/ teen chapel. It was great to see the kids again and spend time with them. In between the younger and older kids chapel I spent time outside talking to a couple of the kids. One of the kids I spoke to was a girl named Alexandra. She told me that she had a stomach ache (she didn’t know why) and when I heard that I felt in my heart to pray for her. I asked her if I could pray for her, she didn’t seem to mind so I said a short prayer for her and then afterwards I encouraged her to come to the chapel.

I think that was my first time that I prayed for one of the kids just spontaneously like that at the orphanage and I really have a desire to pray more for the kids there. Please pray that God will continue to open up these precious kid’s hearts and continue to draw them to Him. They all need God so much! Thanks so much for your continuous prayers.
