“We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us”.                                                                                                    – 2 Corinthians 5:20a

I just want to give God praise for the time that He gave me at church this morning (it was a powerful service!) and then it was wonderful to spend time with the children and families at the Sabolciu gypsy village when I went there this afternoon! I am very grateful for the opportunity that the Lord has given me to go to the village every Sunday afternoon to spend more time with the kids and also be a part of the church service there as well.

This morning after church I spoke to my Pastor about some things. One of the things that we spoke about was the possibility of me serving in the church because over the last month or so it has been on my mind. He welcomed me to serve in the church and encouraged me to go to the workers training classes which start tomorrow and also the workers training retreat which is this coming weekend.

Wow, what great timing that the next workers training courses start tomorrow and the retreat is this weekend! I’m very excited about it and I believe the Lord is going to help me to continue to grow in Him as I step out and serve in my local church here.

About Andrea

I am from Whitby, Ontario. I have lived in Romania for 9 years as a missionary but I am currently in Canada on a sabbatical break at this time. I have also lived in South Korea for a year and I have also been to Russia, Uganda, Albania and the Czech Republic on short-term mission trips. In 2012, God also gave me an amazing opportunity to go to Mozambique for the Harvest Mission School with Iris Ministries as well. I love children, reaching out to people who are in need and vulnerable, I have a passion to fight against the injustice issue of human trafficking and to simply share the love of Jesus wherever I go. I also love cats too and I have a cat of my own named Minnie!
