“He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.”

Psalm 91:1

Today around 6:00pm I went to the workers training retreat with my church. We all met at the church and then travelled in different cars to the hotel which was just outside of Oradea. There were around 30 people that went and on Saturday I think the number was even up to almost 40 people. I shared a room with Folu and Tubi (I’m not sure if I spelled her name correctly), they are two girls from Nigeria and they are medical university students here in Oradea.

This evening we had our first teaching session on global evangelization. Before Pastor Innocent started the teaching we had an awesome time of worship and prayer. We also prayed specifically for the room that we met in at the hotel and for the surrounding directions that God would send his divine protection against the enemy as we met together for the retreat.

I thank God for the challenging teaching that my Pastor gave on global evangelism. Here are eight points that he gave, I thought it might be helpful for other people so I decided write them in this entry: 1) Have pain in your heart for the lost, 2) be specific of the time that the Lord tells you (in other words be productive and don’t waste time), 3) love the lost, not condemn them, 4) create a need in your heart for salvation for people, 5) take the word of God in you and proclaim it, 6) have the love of Christ in your heart, 7) depend on God and not on yourself and 8) prayer intercession and deliverance for the land is very important.

After the evening session we had all ate dinner which was a delicious soup and then I went off to bed. It was a great first day of the workers training retreat and I am very sure tomorrow will be as well!
