“He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall, but those who wait on the Lord. Shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.”

Isaiah 40:29 -31

When I read this scripture verse it always reminds me how incredibility important it is to wait upon the Lord, as we do that the Lord will renew our strength and we will grow in new heights with Him in our walk with Him. Sometimes for me I find it very difficult to be in that waiting mode especially when I want something to happen right now and I don’t understand why I can’t have it now. However we don’t serve “an instant God”!

Waiting is hard to do but when it’s something valuable then it’s worth the wait and I believe too during this waiting time the Lord teaches us to trust in Him more so we can also grow in our relationship with Him more. I pray these scripture verses on my blog are an encouragement to you and also inspire you to continue to keep your eyes on Christ our Lord and Savior.

This evening from 5:00 – 8:00pm I went to church for my workers training class. It was a great class and I am so thankful for all the things that I’m learning from my Pastor and also from everyone else too. We have great discussions and the classes are so encouraging and challenging! It is just such a blessing to be a part of this church and to now be able to serve as well!
