“Yet to all who received him, to those who believe in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.”                                                                        John 1:12

This afternoon I had such a great time with Bobi and Beni from the Sabolciu gypsy village. They are our two boys that go to high school in Oradea (currently they are in their second year). Norbi (one of my co-workers) and I took them to the Oradea Shopping Centre to go

bowling and have a bite to eat. We had such a great time and I am so very proud of them for their dedication with continuing their education in going to high school!!

Norbi told me today that next school year there will be three more students from the village that want to go to high school! This is such amazing news and I truly believe it is all because of Bobi and Beni being the very first high school students from the village that have broken the cycle! Praise God!

In the evening I went to the orphanage for the younger orphan chapel that we do with the kids there every Wednesdays. We sang songs, played games and told them a Bible story. We had a great time and it was especially so sweet how young Levi wanted to be with me most of the time! 🙂

About Andrea

I am from Whitby, Ontario. I have lived in Romania for 9 years as a missionary but I am currently in Canada on a sabbatical break at this time. I have also lived in South Korea for a year and I have also been to Russia, Uganda, Albania and the Czech Republic on short-term mission trips. In 2012, God also gave me an amazing opportunity to go to Mozambique for the Harvest Mission School with Iris Ministries as well. I love children, reaching out to people who are in need and vulnerable, I have a passion to fight against the injustice issue of human trafficking and to simply share the love of Jesus wherever I go. I also love cats too and I have a cat of my own named Minnie!
