“The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” Deuteronomy 31:8
“Then you will know that I am the Lord; those hope in me will not be disappointed.”
This afternoon I went to my Romanian class from 1:00 – 5:00pm. Then I thought I was going to have a second meeting today with my directors today at 7:00pm about what God has placed on my heart to do later this year but we didn’t end up meeting. I’m not sure why. Maybe there was a miscommunication or something so I felt discouraged about that.
Then I went to church at 9:00pm for our once a month prayer night vigil. I felt really down when I went to church. I am so thankful how my pastor took the time to encourage and pray for me before the prayer meeting. I am very grateful of how God has given me a pastor that has a real shepherd’s heart and a heart that really cares for the people in the congregation. I really believe that is very important to have a good relationship with your pastor at your church.
It turned out to be such an amazing night! We had a great turn out (maybe around 70 people). We had a great time in God’s presence worshipping Him and seeking the Lord in prayer for our families, for the church and for the nations. My pastor preached a great sermon on the power of revival and then after the sermon we had individual prayer intercessory ministry time which was a very encouraging time for everyone including me. I ended up getting home just after 4:00am! Even though it was extremely late that I got home it was so worth it to go to the night prayer vigil!
